Our Year 11 and 12 Career and Enterprise students were treated to two special visits this week in a bid to help them navigate their future pathways.
Representatives from South Metropolitan TAFE and Australian Defence Force Navy personnel were on hand to answer questions about course pathways and career prospects, and share their industry knowledge.
Students asked about course costs, application processes and jobs opportunities within their fields of interest.
They also watched videos about a day in the life of a navy officer, were able to handle safety equipment and learn about the vast variety of roles within the Australian Defence Force.
