College Poppies at Sea

The crew of HMAS Warramunga proudly wore poppy badges handcrafted by Comet Bay College staff and students during their recent Remembrance Day service at sea.

The College gifted nearly 200 poppies to the crew, which included former student Able Seaman Tomas Swinson.

This deployment continues the Australian Defence Forces robust and long standing program of international engagement in the Indo-Pacific.

Navy has deployed multiple ships across the region throughout 2021, demonstrating a commitment to working with partners to address shared challenges, including maritime security.
