Congratulations to Jack Bulloch (Year 8) and Declan Finn (Year 10) who finished runners-up in the SSWA State Surfing titles.
The boys qualified to represent Comet Bay College in the Junior Boys Surfing division after winning the Peel Surfing Titles in early August.
Comet Bay College Surfing Development Program coordinator Ben Jahn said both boys demonstrated outstanding efforts but were just beaten in a close final by a strong Margaret River Senior High School team in a tough contest at Trigg Beach.
“Jack and Declan give 100 percent every time they hit the water, and this result is a great reflection of their hard work and willingness to improve their surfing,” he said.
