Year 8 student Jack Bulloch started surfing when he was seven years old, and it has become a passion he hopes will lead to a career.
Jack recently returned from Queensland where he competed as part of the WA team in the National Junior Surfing Titles. His performance earned him 13th place in his division.
“The level of performance was super high and I feel like my performance was alright but I could have done better,” Jack said.
“The conditions were tricky, from very small to big swell. It was an awesome experience and I have come away motivated to improve my surfing.
“I love surfing because it’s fun and I get to travel to different surf spots. I hope to become a professional surfer and travel the world one day.”
Well done, Jack!
