Comet Bay College’s after-school Drama Club performed its original sci-fi comedy in front of two sell-out crowds last week.
Weirder Stuff, a Stranger Things parody, was written by Drama teacher Jenna Gregory and produced by the students who performed to 100 family and friends last Thursday and Friday night.
“Our Drama Club students put a lot of work into this production over many months and everyone played a vital role, from acting and set design, to lighting and music production, and stage management,” Mrs Gregory said. “I am extremely proud of the work they all put in and it was lovely to showcase it to family, friends and our supportive community.
“It has been my absolute pleasure to work with these creative, hard-working students who met my crazy suggestions and direction with nothing but, ‘Yes!’. Thank you to everyone who attended and supported the Arts at Comet Bay College.”
