Comet Bay College finished second place in the Peel Surfing titles at Secret Harbour last term, thanks to our strong team of surfers and bodyboarders.
We also boasted many division winners, who have won places in the state finals.
Some highlights of our outstanding results included our Junior Boys Surfers Declan Finn (Year 10) and Jack Bulloch (Year 8 ) winning the final and Mason Griffiths (Year 8 ) and Anfernee Thorpe (Year 9) making it through to the semi-final.
Abbey Poad (Year 12) and Kiera Campbell (Year 12) won their Senior Girls Bodyboarding Final.
Junior Girls Surfers Harleia Loose (Year 7) and Oceanna Kettlewell (Year 9) finished runners-up in the final and Sophie Walkington (Year 8 ) and Matilda Sheppard (Year 8 ) made it through to their semi-final.
The results reflect the effort and application shown in the Comet Bay College Surfing Program. Well done to all the students!
