Our Year 10 Art Extension students put their adaptability to the test today when participating in a round-robin artwork challenge.
The students were assigned different portraits and asked to recreate them using a range of new materials at each station.
Teacher Meg Henderson said students had focussed on portraits this term and the round-robin activity aimed to coax students out of their comfort zone to work with different materials.
“Using pastels, water colour, conte crayons and coloured textas, the students had a limited amount of time to recreate the portrait using the art terminology they have acquired this term,” she said. “It was a bit of fun but also produced some great results.”
