Our Year 7 Drama Extension students visited Circus WA at the ‘Big Top’ in Fremantle recently.
The students completed a two-hour workshop exploring lots of circus skills and equipment, including the trampolines, trapeze, juggling, plate spinning and the tightrope.
Teacher Jenna Gregory said students would be studying circus skills more closely in Term 4 and the excursion allowed them to learn from professional performers.
“It was great to see all the students trying everything with confidence,” she said.
