Comet Bay College is one of four Department of Education STEM Hub Schools for pre-service teachers, and last week opened its doors to share our knowledge with enthusiastic university students.
The Professional Learning day enabled the training teachers to develop their STEM skills under the watchful eye of Comet Bay College Associate Principals Phil Casas and Jo Harmer.
Students worked collaboratively to design and build foam board gliders.
They said the session was interactive and lots of fun. It also provided them the opportunity to network and meet other pre-service teachers in the area. Many will be returning for another session later this term.
