Comet Bay College welcomed a batch of new staff shirts recently, featuring Indigenous artwork designed by one of our parents, Mary Indich.
It was fitting they arrived during National Reconciliation Week.
English teacher Kathy Hodgson, who was instrumental in implementing the optional uniform, said it was a great way to honour the College’s growing indigenous population.
Mary originally designed the shirt for Comet Bay Primary School staff.
“We included additional colours in our shirts to represent our College, our link to the Fremantle Dockers Football Club, and our feeder schools,” Ms Hodgson said.
