Inquiry-Based Projects

This term our Year 8 students have been researching social issues and developing innovative solutions as part of their inquiry-based projects in English.
In small groups, students were required to research an issue of interest to them, write a persuasive speech, create a multimodal element and present their project to the class. Homelessness, obesity, racism, drug abuse, mental health and support for the LGBTQI+ community were some of the topics addressed.
Students were introduced to the graphic design site Canva and they created some fantastic posters, websites, infographics and models!
