Comet Bay College celebrated International Women’s Day on Tuesday.
Students were invited to watch inspiring films Made in Dagenham and Hidden Figures in the library during their lunch break, and the College radio featured music from renowned female artists.
Event coordinator Brianna Player said it was important the College recognised the significant contributions of women in order to promote equality.
“We understand gender inequality is a big social issue and we want to foster thinking in our young people that promotes closing that gap,” she said.
