Despite this week’s heatwave, our Year 12s were excited to get their hands on their Leaver’s jackets today.
Associate Dean of Student Support Justin Holt said the reversible bomber jacket with white sleeves was a design worn by Comet Bay College Leavers for several years, and a tradition this year’s cohort voted to keep.
“It’s a rite of passage to wear the Leaver’s jacket and it marks the start of a year full of milestone celebrations for these students,” Mr Holt said.
“As always, the jackets have been personalised with names or nicknames, and we hope they remain a keepsake for years to come.”
