Comet Bay College’s annual Art Awards were announced today, with Iris Sin (Year 10) taking the prestigious Principal’s Choice Award for her digital illustration inspired by her studies of climate change.
Fellow classmate Chloe Stephen also impressed, with her digital illustration depicting an anxiety attack winning the People’s Choice Award.
Year 10 student Amber Ramsdale’s mountain landscape scored the most votes from her peers for the Student’s Choice Award, and the Stevie Award was won by Kahilia Nienaber in Year 11 for her striking portrait.
The art pieces were on display during the College’s recent 2021 Arts Expo, which showcased the hard work of our dance, drama, cheer, media and visual art students.
Each winner received a $50 Oxlades voucher to spend on art supplies and a certificate.
Congratulations to all four winners!
