A team of students from across all year levels represented Comet Bay College at the Interschool Athletics Carnival last week, where two of our girls were crowned Champions!
Congratulations to Freya Palmer (Year 7) and Lucia Groves (Year 12) who finished top of their year group.
Health and Physical Education teacher and Athletics head coach Gillian Hassan said students participated in a full range of athletic disciplines, including hurdles, shot put, discus, jumps, long distance running, sprints and relays.
“All students represented the College at the highest level, showcasing great ability, sportsmanship and support for their fellow teammates,” she said.
The team was captained by Year 12s Jack Ashby and Lucia Groves.
