Our 2021 Leavers showcased their creativity this week, dressing to impress for Comet Bay College’s annual Dress Up Day.
There were several nods to Netflix sensation Squid Game, as well as throwbacks including the Teletubbies and Scooby-Doo. A full cast of Austin Powers impressed, along with the Dad tribe, athletes, Where’s Wally and an impressive Ali G!
The day started with the traditional Farewell Breakfast, followed by a presentation by Red Frogs Australia, raising awareness about drink driving, drug experimentation, sexual consent, social media use and personal wellbeing a bid to keep our students safe at Schoolies celebrations.
Year 12 Associate Dean of Student Support Jonny Dixon gave out several awards to students, including Brightest Smile to Zoe Mummery, Dirtiest Mullet to Jake Sheppard, Walking Calamity to Jessica Cottier and the Born Ready Award to Kooper Buckle.
The Leavers enjoyed inflatables and food stalls on the oval, and a sausage sizzle lunch cooked by our Student Leadership Team.
