Touch Rugby Talent

A group of Year 9-12 boys represented Comet Bay College at the SSWA Upper School Touch Rugby Carnival at George Burnett Park in Karawara last week.
Cold and wet conditions did not dampen their enthusiasm and teacher Alissa Hillman praised the students’ attitude, behaviour and competitiveness, which did not waiver.
Comet Bay A (Years 9 and 10) finished second in their pool, winning 4 out of 6 games, and Comet Bay B (Years 10 to 12) finished top of their pool, allowing them to progress to the semi-final!
“All the boys showed excellent skills throughout the day and should be extremely proud of their efforts,” Miss Hillman said.
“A big thank you goes to Dana Matai who was amazing in providing her coaching and expertise during trainings in the lead-up and on the day of the carnival.”
