Comet Bay College celebrated Book Week 2021 recently and there were many familiar faces, including Dr Who, Little Red Riding Hood, Alice in Wonderland, Where’s Wally and Harry Potter.
This year’s theme was Old Worlds, New Worlds, Other Worlds.
To celebrate the College hosted a range of old-world games and activities, and romance author Claire Boston ran inspirational workshops.
Students were transported to other worlds when entering the library through the Narnia wardrobe.
Renee York in Year 9, Layla Edwards in Year 11 and Storm Gerritsen in Year 12 won our student costume competition and took home a selection of books.
The Science Department took out the staff competition, with their 101 Dalmatians theme, winning a batch of cupcakes courtesy of our Home Economics students.
