Our Year 12 ATAR Geography students explored Cockburn Central and Perth during an excursion last week that focussed on strategies for sustainable urban planning.
Two town planners from the City of Cockburn led a guided tour around Cockburn, which included the Cockburn Aquatic and Recreation Centre and a Fremantle Dockers Football Club training session.
In Perth the students walked 12km to examine the new Perth City Link, Elizabeth Quay redevelopment and urban renewal in East Perth.
