Comet Bay College hosted two Semester One Awards Assemblies today, honouring students who had excelled in their studies in the first half of 2021.
It was wonderful to see so many family members attend to join in the celebration.
The highest honours, the Academic Awards, were presented to the top student in each year group.
Congratulations to Maia Hughes in Year 7, Julia Farruggio in Year 8, Anastasia Drakulic in Year 9, Iris Sin in Year 10, Billie-Jo Robinson in Year 11 and Ryan Barone-Piper in Year 12.
The assemblies were also a chance to acknowledge students who had performed well in recent national geography competitions, and formally present medals to our champion footballers who won the Simply Energy Cup Cable Division last term.
Entertainment for both assemblies was provided by some of our talented Year 12s.
