Guest speakers from companies within the Mining, Oil and Gas Industry visited Comet Bay College recently to provide professional advice on careers pathways to Year 11 and 12 students interested in working in the sector.
They offered great tips on how to get into the industry, what job opportunities are in their respective companies and advice on how to come to an interview prepared, particularly how to make sure your resume stands out among the thousand they receive every year!
About 60 students attended the presentation, with displays available for all students to browse during their recess and lunch breaks.
