Our Year 12 General Human Biology students learnt how to dissect bones last term.
The students watched an instructional video and donned protective wear before using scalpels and probes to dissect and analyse cow leg bones.
Science Dean Sue Harrison said the activity enabled students to study bone structure, compare different types of bones and identify other features, including red and yellow marrow, growth plates and arteries.
