Professionals in the beauty and fashion fields visited Comet Bay College recently to share their knowledge with students keen on forging a career in the industry.
The incursion was designed to showcase pathways and career opportunities to interested Year 11 and 12 students, with displays available for the whole school to visit during recess and lunchtime.
Representatives from Metro Agency, South Metro TAFE, Vincent & Co, D’nigma Dressmaking and Steve Heath Photography attended, alongside former student Mia Kaston who runs her own beauty business, MRK Beauty Bar.
Student models were treated to a glamourous makeover, complete with professional photoshoot.
The event was part of our extensive 2021 Career Development Centre incursion series which will run throughout the entire year.
