Agents For Change

More than 40 of our female students will spend the next two days learning how to see problems as opportunities for entrepreneurship, thanks to an innovative program delivered by Young Change Agents.
The Academy of Enterprising Girls (AEG) is an entrepreneurship program is designed to cultivate young women’s skills in design thinking and business. It encourages girls to identify problems in their community and develop solutions in the form of a social enterprise.
Comet Bay College Associate Principal Phil Casas said it was great to see so many enthusiastic Year 7-10 girls sign up to take part.
“We are one of the first schools to be able to host this innovative, new program face to face,” he said. “The AEG gives our most ambitious girls a safe space to explore their entrepreneur skills, while also enhancing skills such as communication, leadership, self-motivation and self-esteem.”
