Year 11 School to Employment Program (STEP) students put their holistic health studies into practice during an excursion to Woodman Point Recreation Centre this week.
STEP teachers Katy Vipond and Theresa Jennings supervised as students tackled physical and mental health exercises.
“Our students enjoyed wall and rock climbing and practised being in the present moment,” Mrs Jennings said.
“Students also had the opportunity to push themselves past their comfort zone by going on a flying fox which was the height of a three-storey building.”
