Comet Bay College staff welcomed hundreds of students and their families through the gates last Wednesday afternoon for our annual Parent Meet and Greet.
The event showcases the College’s facilities and Learning Areas, and enables parents to get to know their child’s teachers and other support staff.
This year’s event included music by our College band, a free sausage sizzle prepared by our Food Technology students, information stalls showcasing external providers and a basketball competition hosted by the Rockingham Flames.
Door prizes and a CONNECT Workshop rounded out the evening.
“The annual Meet and Greet is a valued event that brings our College community together,” Principal Jamie Hayres said.
“It was fantastic to see so many families introducing themselves to our staff and investing time in understanding what we work hard doing each and every day for their child.”
