The College’s School to Employment Program (STEP) welcomed new students recently and our Year 11s got to know each other during a series of team building activities.
Students in the program attend school three days a week, spend one day in qualified training and another in work placement.
STEP teacher Theresa Jennings said the focus of the activity was to improve communication skills.
“These students are entering industry workplace at a young age and it is important for them to present themselves well and speak with confidence, and these exercises are a great way to foster those skills,” she said.
