Year 12 student Nasman Donovan recently released his debut CD.
The 12-track acoustic album, Nasman Donovan: Live in the Studio, was recorded at Blackbird Sound Studio late last year and showcases Nasman’s broad musical range.
It includes classic and contemporary covers from artists such as Ed Sheeran, Tracy Chapman, The Beatles and Frank Sinatra.
Nasman, who has been singing since he was nine and playing the guitar since age 12, said recording an album was something he thought about for a while.
“Music is my passion, it’s what I want to do,” he said.
“I’m a songwriter as well – I’m always creating my own music.”
