Comet Bay College took a step back in time last term for its annual Medieval Fair.
Our knights and fair maidens were able to take part in jousting competitions, catapult demonstrations, dress-ups, maypole dancing and various games, and enjoy medieval food and potions.
The Fair was run by the Humanities and Social Sciences staff and Year 8 students and complements their Term 3 studies about medieval history and the Black Death.
HASS Associate Dean Michelle Statham said students had worked hard making artefacts, dioramas and other displays to share their knowledge.
“Our students love studying medieval history and really embraced this year’s Fair,” she said.
“The highlight was the catapult demonstration which attracted a big crowd.
“Thank you to all the staff and students who worked hard to deliver our best Medieval Fair to date!”
