In September, Comet Bay College’s Year 8/9 Boys Basketball Team competed at the School Sport WA South of the River Championship Carnival.
The Carnival was held at Ray Owen Sports Centre Lesmurdie on Thursday, September 5.
Health and Physical Education teacher Ben Smith congratulated the boys on their efforts on the day.
“The boys fought extremely hard all day against specialist schools and were competitive against every team they played,” he said.
“The boys finished with three wins on the day; losing the first cross-over game then finishing the last game of the day with a one-point win.”
Mr Smith thanked parents who made the journey to support the team, and those who helped with scoring and umpiring.
