Year 10 student, Maddison Ayton, has been selected to participate in Curtin University’s Sir Charles Court Young Leaders Program. Over 150 applicants showed interest in the four day leadership camp, Maddi was one of 30 students from Western Australian Public and Private schools offered a place to participate.
“I was surprised but elated that I was offered a position. There were so many applicants, that I wasn’t expecting to be successful! I hope to gain valuable skills and bring these skills back to Comet Bay College and apply them within our Leadership Team.”
Maddi has been a member of the College’s Gifted and Talented Education Program for 3 years now, and has a keen interest for History, the Arts and Medical Science. Following school Maddi hopes to become a Lawyer.
