Comet Bay College’s Garden Program is blossoming, thanks to the generous support of our community.
Last week, Bunnings Port Kennedy kindly donated some fruit trees, herbs, seedlings, mulch and other garden supplies, to help expand the produce students have been harvesting.
Coordinator Joshua Abercrombie, who oversees the Garden Program alongside Brianna Player, thanked Bunnings for their continued support of the project.
“The Garden Program is a great example of how to engage students while teaching vital environmental and life skills,” he said.
“The students have taken a great amount of pride and ownership in the project, it’s wonderful to see the garden flourish.”
