What an Honour!

Five former students returned to Comet Bay College yesterday to see their photographs added to our Australian Military History Museum Hall of Honour.
Jake Starkie, Dillon Slater, Daniel Molloy, Marli-Jay Robertson and Chantelle Whitaker are all serving in the Royal Australian Navy and are based at Garden Island.
There are now 13 former students featured in the Hall of Honour.
Defence School Mentor Claire Hunt said many of Comet Bay College’s alumni were serving in the Navy, Army and Air Force right across the nation, with seven more students to be added to the Hall of Honour soon.
“It’s wonderful to see so many students achieve their career goals by joining the Australian Defence Force” Ms Hunt said. “They are all great representatives of the College.”
Comet Bay College opened the Australian Military History Museum and unveiled the Hall of Honour in April 2016. It recognises about 100 serving alumni and parents of current students, teachers who have served and local veterans who have been affiliated with the College.
Ms Hunt is eager to hear from any other former students who have joined the Australian Defence Force. They can email Claire.Hunt@education.wa.edu.au to join the Hall of Honour.
