World Teachers’ Day was celebrated in Australia last Friday, 25th October. The day presents a fantastic opportunity for all of us to recognise and appreciate teachers and the important role they play in shaping the next generation.
For 2019, the campaign focused on the #brightfuture of the profession including beginning teachers starting their career. The day also celebrated the role experienced teachers play in both the classroom and supporting beginning teachers on their teaching journey.
The following message and attached Video were put together by Comet Bay College students in acknowledgement of our wonderful Teaching Staff on World Teachers Day last Friday.
“We just want to thank you for all the time, effort and dedication you put in for us. Although we may not tell you enough, we appreciate everything you do for us. Thank you for staying back to help us. Thank you for staying up late to mark our work. Thank you for supporting us even when we make it difficult. We appreciate you.
