Comet Bay College Comet Bay College Seek Excellence

The Student Ambassador Program provides students with the opportunity to lead, inspire, and make a meaningful contribution to the College community. Designed for students with strong attendance, a positive attitude towards learning, and demonstrated leadership potential, the program helps students develop confidence, communication skills, and a strong sense of responsibility.

Student Ambassadors act as positive role models, represent student voice, support College events and initiatives, create meaningful change through fundraising events, mentor younger students, and represent the College at community functions. Through practical leadership experiences and monthly meetings and training opportunities, Ambassadors work collaboratively to strengthen school culture, promote wellbeing, and help create an inclusive and welcoming environment.

The program reflects the College’s commitment to developing capable, engaged young leaders who embody the College motto, “Seek Excellence”.

Leadership Pathways

The Student Ambassador Program provides a structured pathway for students to develop their leadership skills and take on increasing levels of responsibility throughout their time at Comet Bay College. As Ambassadors gain experience through Years 7-12, demonstrate commitment, and contribute positively to the team, they may be considered for senior leadership positions.

In Years 11 and 12, students have the opportunity to apply for leadership roles such as Captain and Vice Captain. These positions involve mentoring younger Ambassadors, helping coordinate team initiatives and events, chairing ambassador meetings, attending board meetings, representing the student body at a higher level, and working closely with College staff to support student voice and leadership across the school.

These opportunities allow students to further develop their leadership skills while making a lasting contribution to the College community and beyond.
