In 2011, Comet Bay College recognised the importance of supporting the education of Gifted and Talented students from an early age (Years 1-4). To meet this need, Nautilus Club was established, which later expanded to include the Nautilus Master Class for students in Years 5 and 6. This proactive initiative has provided selected students with tailored learning practices, allowing them to flourish academically.
These early experiences lay a solid foundation for the students’ future academic success, making this project an exciting and innovative venture highly esteemed by primary schools, teachers, parents, and students alike. Its success continues to grow.
The program invites nominated students who meet strict criteria from Comet Bay, Secret Harbour and Golden Bay Primary Schools to participate in two-hour weekly sessions at Comet Bay College throughout the school year.
