Friday, 10th August was Free Dress Day for Comet Bay College Staff and Students, with all proceeds from the fundraiser going to the Childhood Leukaemia & Cancer Research Foundation.
We are so very excited to announce that donations made by staff and students totalled an ENORMOUS $1689.85!
PLUS:-
A big thank you to Comet Bay College Phys Ed Teacher, Mr Matt Piggott, who volunteered to have his head shaved on the day, and in doing so individually raised a MASSIVE $1540.00 to contribute toward the College collection!
IN TOTAL, Comet Bay College Staff and Students will be donating a HUGE $3229.85 to the Childhood Leukaemia and Cancer Research Foundation!
Thanks go to the student leaders and staff volunteers who greeted the students at the gates to collect the donations. It was wonderful to see the school community come together in support of such a worthy cause.
Comet Bay College Phys Ed Teacher Matt Piggott supported this fundraiser and generously volunteered to have his head shaved. Students came down to the college Amphitheatre to cheer him on during recess.
