Jeans for Genes Day
All donations go towards Children’s Medical Research to help cure Childhood Diseases
All donations will be given to the Children’s Medical Research Institute to help find ways to treat or prevent childhood cancer, epilepsy, birth defects and genetic diseases.
Students are invited to wear denim jeans to school on Friday 4th August as part of a Jeans for Genes Day fundraising event at Comet Bay College.
To participate, students wearing jeans should make your donation as you enter the school grounds (there will be donation tins at each gate). You will then receive a raffle ticket to be in the running for a prize which will be announced at lunchtime.
If you do not have a raffle ticket (to acknowledge that you have donated) and are wearing jeans, you will be sent to Student Support as per the normal uniform violation rules.
Students should wear their faction or standard school top with the jeans. No other non-uniform additions will be allowed.
