A group of Year 12 girls attended the Chamber of Minerals and Energy of Western Australia (CME) Inspiring Girls Careers Forum at Optus Stadium this week.
The event was designed to showcase the resources industry to female secondary school students and to inspire them to follow in the footsteps of women who have achieved great personal and career success in the sector.
Students were able to speak to more than 20 different companies about various roles within their organisation.
“All students loved the day, coming out with some great information about opportunities for their futures,” Careers Practitioner Katy Vipond said.
