A group of our Year 11 and 12 students learned some vital employability skills this week when Jodie Babbs from South Metro TAFE and Jobs and Skills Centre visited.
She gave students great tips on resume and cover letter writing, interview skills and how deliver an ‘elevator pitch’. Students also learned how to capitalise on networking opportunities and promote themselves to prospective employers.
The incursion was held during their HASS Career and Enterprise classes, as part of Comet Bay College’s commitment to preparing our students to enter the workforce with confidence.
