A few of our new NTS Comet cadets enjoyed seaman training, parade ground training and learned how to rig a sail boat during their first overnight camp at HMAS Stirling on the weekend.
They were joined by their peers from TS Canning and got a taste of life in the Navy, eating their meals in the junior sailor’s mess.
Two recruits, Sophie Sharman and Zoe Oats, also joined cadets from across the state to parade at Government House on WA Day.
NTS Comet Midshipman David Karcheski praised our cadets’ conduct at the camp and involvement in such a prestigious parade.
