Four students received special awards at the annual Comet Bay College Defence Family Supper which was held last week.
Congratulations to Shaylah Arthurson (Year 8) who received the Resilience Award, Shannan Marshall (Year 11) for his Endeavour Award, Latrell Wamae (Year 11) who won this year’s Community Award and Tara Cresswell (Year 8) who took home the Volunteer Award.
The College also recognised the impact a family deployment had on students by presenting inaugural Deployment Medallions to Blair Williams, Ethan Bradford, Lachlan O’Hehir, Ethan and Erin Ward, Lily Grinham, and Samantha and Julian Gill.
The annual supper unites Australian Defence Force and cadet families to celebrate their child’s achievements, welcome new enlistments and farewell graduates.
