This week students, staff and community volunteers came together to make poppies in preparation for a Remembrance Day Project which will be displayed at the Secret Harbour Shopping Centre later in the year.
Hundreds of poppy petals were hand cut from satin fabric and others crocheted.
It was a successful beginning to our goal of creating an assortment of 2000 poppies for this display.
We welcome public volunteers to join us in this commemorative project. Our students will create the exhibition using the handmade poppies and it will be on display from November 8 to 15.
