Showcasing Our STEM Skills

One of our Gifted and Talented students was invited to a STEM career expo in Lynwood recently to demonstrate skills they had learned at Comet Bay College.
Ronan Pryer (Year 7) represented the College and School Pathways Program and presented alongside Australian Defence Force, Australian Submarine Corporation, Murdoch University and Curtin University.
Nautilus Club Coordinator Jody Lewin said he was required to showcase his work while speaking to members of the public.
“Ronan demonstrated fabulous skills in interacting with the public and using ROVs (remotely operated vehicles). Other presenters and the public who viewed his work at the expo were very impressed with not only his level of skill, but also his knowledge, work ethic and mature skills in interacting in an engaging manner with people.”
