Comet Bay College welcomed Department of Education Director General Lisa Rodgers and Deputy Director General Jim Bell last week for a tour of our campus facilities.
Staff and student leaders showcased a range of College facilities to the pair, including our bustling STEM Academy.
Principal Jamie Hayres said the tour highlighted the College’s positive culture and dedication to improved student outcomes.
“Everything that we do is underpinned by our whole of college culture of commitment to personal growth and personal accountability to be the best that we can be,” he said.
“The tour allowed the Director General to experience first-hand our environment of inclusivity and commitment to our motto of always ‘seeking excellence’.”
Ms Rodgers described her visit to Comet Bay College as “inspirational”, demonstrating best practice secondary education at work.
