Big Adventures For RISK Students

Students enrolled in our Year 7 RISK Program and Year 8 Advanced RISK Program ventured into the Jarrahdale State Forest wilderness this week to test their survival skills and ability to overcome challenges.
In small groups the students recovered items in covert operations, built survival structures, practiced their first aid in simulated travel catastrophes, and impressed staff with their camp cooking.
RISK coordinator Mr Karcheski said after months of training the students exemplified teamwork, perseverance, and courage.
Congratulations to Alira Cooper and Gracie White-Hooton who were nominated for E for Effort awards, and to Seth Moss and Jayse Nicholas who received an O for Others award.
