As our senior students begin making decisions about their careers and future studies, Comet Bay College hosted a University and Further Education Expo to offer guidance about tertiary pathways.
All Year 11 and 12 students visited the stalls during their Focus classes, speaking to representatives about courses, careers and life at university. They were able to take home brochures and other promotional material to help with their decision.
Career Development Events Coordinator Claire Hunt said students were highly engaged in the expo, asked interesting questions and demonstrated great maturity and behaviour.
“It was clear that they had researched the degrees they were interested in applying for – they had prepared for this event to make sure they got the most out of this opportunity to speak to the University representatives,” she said.
