Comet Bay College’s fastest swimmers delivered impressive performances in the pool in the recent Interschool SSWA Swimming Carnival, securing the College third place in Division C.
Congratulations to Joseph Tyrrell and Erin Ward, both in Year 9, who were crowned Champions, and Jessica Tyrrell (year7), Tristan Van Waas (Year 7) and Lacey Hunter (Year 10) who took home Runner-up Champion honours.
Health and Physical Education Associate Dean Gillian Hassan said the students should have been proud of their efforts.
“They worked hard all day, with some of our students competing in six events,” she said.
“All of our students displayed exceptional behaviour and a great deal of sportsmanship both in and out of the pool.”
