A Sweet Assignment

An assortment of treats was used to create brain neuron models by our Year 11 ATAR Psychology students recently.
Teacher Mandy Hall said the sweet project allowed students to transfer their theoretical studies into a physical model.
“It really helped them to remember each part of the neuron – where it goes, how it functions and what it looks like – which will assist students during upcoming tests,” she said.
“They all got to eat their neuron at the end of the lesson, so that was a win! It was certainly a popular task.”
