Diorama Fun

Our Year 9 Enrichment students showed off their creative flair by making WWI-inspired dioramas as part of their Humanities and Social Science studies.
The students used a range of materials to create intricate scenes of trench warfare and makeshift hospitals within cardboard box frames.
HASS Associate Dean Michelle Statham said the project was a great way to see how students interpreted the war.
“It has been really interesting to see what they chose to illustrate in their dioramas – each student has a completely different scene,” she said.
“I have been so impressed by the amount of detail they have included, the materials they have used to create the scenes and their enthusiasm throughout this project.”
